These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RunToIt (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
RunToIt provides curated running routes and related information for general guidance only. Routes, distances, terrain descriptions, and destination details are provided on an “as is” basis for informational purposes. They are not a substitute for your own judgment, fitness assessment, or local knowledge.
Running and outdoor activity carry inherent risks. You are solely responsible for your safety, including checking conditions, traffic, lighting, and your physical readiness. RunToIt is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of routes or information on the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at el18hrh@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or engage in abusive or unlawful behaviour, with or without notice where appropriate.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload our APIs or infrastructure
- Reproduce or redistribute our content without permission
Intellectual property
Route descriptions, editorial copy, branding, design, and other original content on RunToIt are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without prior written consent.
Third-party data and services
Maps, geocoding, and location data are provided by third parties including Mapbox. Venue and place information is provided by Google via the Google Places API. AI route matching is powered by Anthropic. These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party data accuracy or availability.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of route information.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RunToIt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate.
